Our guests can enjoy a varied menu of familiar and traditional dishes with a modern twist. If our walls could talk, they’d tell you tales of the hundred years that this place has served visitors and guests looking for somewhere to catch their breath. A place where weary workers, romantic couples, large families and itinerant loners stop to share their stories – perhaps about a pilgrimage to the Esdonks Kapelleke, a visit to Gemert Castle or maybe a trip through Het Hurkske nature reserve.
KOKS is located at the crossroads of several cycling routes and our almost fully covered all-season terrace likes to welcome passing cyclists and hikers year round. We’re a great starting point for a trip, located on the banks of the Aa, between Gemert and Erp. The beautifully green surroundings are home to countless paths, which have been mapped out as both extensive and shorter cycling and hiking routes.
FULLY RENOVATED
KOKS underwent a comprehensive rebuild and renovation between 2020 and 2022. Inside, there’s a playroom for children, plus a brand-new outdoor area too. The atmospheric all-season terrace has a new retractable canopy overhead so you can sit outside on almost any day of the year, whilst keeping a close eye on the children as well. In addition to our restaurant and terrace, the venue is also ideal for business and private events, with a suitable space to accommodate any kind of occasion. We offer our atmospheric all-season terrace for large gatherings for lunch or dinner, a cosy tipi tent for an intimate BBQ and function rooms for festive occasions, meetings and presentations. The choice is yours. Our informal and welcoming restaurant is always available for a working lunch or friendly drink.
